Meet Kara
A Houston native who spent many weekends at my grandparents house in the antique haven of Round Top-Carmine, I found inspiration from an early age in colors, old objects and how they looked through the eye of a camera lens or the stroke of a paintbrush. An addiction to thrift shopping led me here. After running out of room in my home (and my wallet) for my vintage finds, I decided to try appreciating the unique things- both new and old- that those around me have found to bring them their own inspiration. Here you will find photos I have taken all over the world, art that I have created, and unique homes that I found were too special for others not to see.
